Sahuarita Middle School

Sahuarita, Arizona

Fall 2000

8th Grade Overview
The 8th grade class allows the students to use the perspective and design concepts from the 6th and 7th grade classes to make their own ideas come alive with color and creativity. Value changes introduced in black and white with pencil drawings in the 7th grade are translated into color as paints and glazes are added to the materials list with two-dimensional projects as well as with the three-dimensional ceramic projects.
A ceramic mask project was added for the Spring 2000 semester, directed by student teacher Heidi Faith. Click below to see the results!
